What's Your Status? Contest
Memoirs Ink is having a free mini-memoir competition inspired by some great lines we’ve seen on gmail status, facebook status, twitter and others. The status line, while it can be a boring travelogue or list of things done in a day, is also a great form of mini memoiring. (Yes, we just made that word up.) So email us your status (150 characters MAX) and win cool prizes.
- Email entries to memoirsinkstatus@gmail.com
- Put your status right into the subject line (or die!).
- 150 Characters MAX
- The body of the email should contain only your name and alternate email address if you have one, and your phone number.
- Begin the status with your name (I.e.: Felice Austin is writing a status line.)
- You don’t have to use the word “is.” Just make sure to begin with your name.
- All entries should be original. If you win, or are a finalist, you have to sign a simple contract saying your work is original and assigning us rights to publish it. Yada yada. Winners and finalists published.
- Prizes: One Grand prize per month. June Prize: $100 Memoirs Ink dollars or merchandise of your choice from our store.
- You may enter as many times as you like.
- This contest is open to anyone in the world. All ages.
- Deadline:The last day of every month. – Winners announced around the 15th of the next month(unless it falls on a Sunday).
- Email questions to a different email address: jane @ memoirsink (dot) com. Please don’t send statuses here!
This contest will be judged by: Felice, Jane, Jill, and two guys named Adam.
